By Road
M54 to Telford from Birmingham
Leave M54 at Junction 4 following signs for Ironbridge Gorge. Go straight ahead at this roundabout (it has a huge spike). At the 2nd roundabout take the 1st exit, down a slope onto a lower dual carriageway (A442 Shrewsbury). Take the turning off for Kidderminster/Bridgnorth, and filter right to join another dual carriageway. Continue for 3/4 mile then at the next roundabout go straight ahead. After about 1/3rd mile, take the right turn signposted Coalport. This will take you over a hill and down a steep lane to a narrow bridge over the Severn. Cross the river and bear right for only a few yards, then take the first turn left. Coalport Station is just here. Please knock on the nearest door of the house.
M54 to Telford from Wales
Leave M54 at Junction 6 following signs for Ironbridge Gorge, but when you see it take the route to Madeley. After many roundabouts and a descent down a large hill you will come to Castlefields Roundabout, which has a very large Colliery Wheel on it. Take the 3rd exit signposted Telford Town Centre (A442). After 1/3rd mile take the first left exit, signposted Kidderminster/Bridgnorth. On this bend keep to the right hand lane, then keep straight until you have passed the turning to the left. By Rail
Take a train to "Telford Central". From here take a taxi to Coalport, and ask the driver to take you to "The Woodbridge". Coalport Station is almost next door. Alternatively we can collect and return you for an additional £20 charge payable at the time we meet you.
By Air
The nearest main airports are Birmingham International (BHX), then Manchester (MAN), then those around London: Stanstead (STN), Heathrow (LHR) or Gatwick (LGW). The low-cost airlines such as flybe.com, thomsonfly.com, Ryanair.com, Mytravellite.com, Bmibaby.com and Easyjet.com also come to Coventry (CVT), Liverpool (LPL), Nottingham (EMA - East Midlands), Stanstead (STN) and Luton (LTN). From any airport take a road or train route to Telford.
