O2 - fair

Accessibility Statement
This is a small country railway station in a rural setting and as such may be unsuitable for persons with a severe walking disability. There is a gravel car park. To gain access to the carriages you need to walk down a gravel path which has a slight slope and onto the platform.

Is it easy to step up from the platform ?
Yes. Stairs with hand rails on both sides are provided, but no ramp. Unfortunately the carriage doors are original and are unsuitable for wheelchair access.
Please contact us by email or telephone if you require any further details.

Is linen provided ?
Yes, you will find all your requirements are met.

Are the grounds suitable for children ?
Supervised children are safe to enjoy the grounds, which are away from traffic.

Do the facilities cater for babies ?
Yes. A cot and high chair are available. We can usually supply additional items on request.

Is babysitting available ?
Please request this at the time of booking - we will help you arrange a local, qualified, registered sitter for your holiday dates.

Can I bring a pet ?

Sorry, no pets allowed. There are several cat and dog kennels in the vicinity.

May we bring fireworks ?
Unfortunately fireworks may not be used in this area of woodlands. Instead please take advantage of the firework season by attending one of several fabulous firework events within walking and driving distance.

Is there a welcome pack?

Yes, this will be dependent on the length of your stay.
For a week we provide milk, butter, preserve, bread, coffee, tea bags, sugar and a bowl of fresh fruit.
For a shorter stay we provide milk, a cake or biscuits or a pastry, coffee, tea bags, sugar and a bowl of fresh fruit.
We do try and ensure that everything is either Organic or Fair traded as far as possible.

Can I order supermarket direct delivery?
Yes, from Waitrose, Sainsburys and that awful Tesco (it appears they want to take over the world of retail). See www.tescopoly.org if you want an eye opener as to how big business wants to run the world.

What if I have another question ?
Please contact us by phone or please use the enquiry form.
