Eating and drinking out

Shropshire has an excellent entertainment guide called 31days. Activities for children also feature. We recommend you try it to plan for some events before your visit
(hint - in the DAY menu select ALL DAYS).
You can search for a range of events by subject, such as jazz, childrens, music and theatre for any specific day.

If you are looking for a great meal, a romantic venue and good wines or traditional English beers then you are spoiled for choice. We have our favourites such as the Golden Ball's Restaurant for a delightful a la Carte menu and the Horse and Jockey for its year-on-year national award winning Steak Pies and carvery Sunday Lunches.
